Where community ties run deep and local businesses are part of everyday life in Kearny, there is a wellness space that stands apart for its authenticity.
Golden Clinic by Rose is one of those rare places where healing, culture, and genuine care come together in a deeply human way. At the center of it all is Rosilene Lopes de Souza, known simply as Rose.
Rose began her path in Brazil, where she completed her first massage therapy training at just 22 years old. Even early on, her work spoke for itself. While she could not initially dedicate herself exclusively to massage due to life’s responsibilities, people naturally sought her out. Clients were drawn to the sense of relief, balance, and comfort they experienced after her sessions. “I realized massage therapy was my calling when I saw how much relief and peace it brought to people, and I knew that was how I wanted to serve others,” said Rose.
At 24, life took her to Portugal, where she built a long and meaningful professional chapter. For 15 years, she worked in the healthcare field while continuing to practice massage therapy. During those years, something became undeniable, massage was not just something she did, it was her calling.
When she moved to the United States at 39, she made a full commitment to that passion. She expanded her knowledge in health and wellness, earning additional certifications and deepening her practice so she could serve clients with greater skill and precision. “My journey across countries taught me that healing is universal, and I’ve made it my mission to bring that care to every person I treat.” says Rose, “that journey shapes my entire philosophy of wellness.”

Today, her clinic on Midland Avenue reflects that journey. The space itself is simple, welcoming, and grounded. With a comfortable atmosphere, clients immediately feel at ease the moment they walk in. Rose intentionally creates a place that feels personal, where every detail reflects care and presence.
Her services include Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu, and trigger point therapy, each session thoughtfully adapted to the client’s needs. Many who come to her are living with chronic pain, high stress, or recovery needs, and leave feeling noticeable relief and renewed mobility.
Rose often shares how many clients arrive after trying multiple approaches without results. Through consistent, focused care that improves circulation, releases tension, and supports the body’s natural recovery, the clients begin to experience real change over time. These moments, she says, are what continue to reaffirm her purpose.

What truly sets Golden Clinic by Rose apart in Kearny is not just technique, it is attention. Rose listens closely before and during each session, observing how the body responds and adjusting with intention. Her philosophy is simple, every body tells a story, and every session deserves to respond to it.
Rose also ensures her services remain accessible, believing that quality care should be available to the community she serves. For Rose, it is about helping people feel better, move more freely, and live with less pain.
Appointments are easily scheduled through the Booksy app, and many clients return regularly, not only for treatment, but for the trust and consistency they feel in her care.
Recently, she has also introduced new wellness products, including a natural massage oil from the Nature Touch line, designed to support relaxation and recovery.
In a world that is often fast-paced and impersonal, Golden Clinic by Rose offers something different: care that is rooted in lived experience and genuine dedication to healing.
Looking ahead, Rose hopes to continue growing her practice, welcoming more clients, and helping even more people in the community who are living with pain, stress, and physical discomfort find relief and restoration.
Her vision is simple but powerful, to keep expanding the number of lives she can positively impact, one session at a time. “Helping people in my community live with less pain and more ease is what continues to inspire me every single day,” said Rose.
