The non-profit group EPIC, which was created to educate, empower, support, and aid families with children with special abilities is holding an EPIC BRUNCH this Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 10:30-1:00pm at 300 Belgrove Drive in Kearny.
Epic is celebrating the season of motherhood by taking a moment to pause, connect, and be refreshed among women who truly understand the journey of special needs motherhood. If you are looking for great food and entertainment this weekend the Spanish Pavillion’s Patio is NOW Open! Catch all the sports action on their big screens and this Saturday night they will have live music by the cover band by RPM. The band will be playing a variety of high energy hits including soul, country motown and classic rock.

Kearny Unico is holding a Spring Fling Bus Trip to Wind Creek Casino and Resort on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Don’t miss out on all the fun-slots, table games, card games, restaurants, food court and shopping!

Also on Sunday, May 17 you can take a short trip to the Hoboken Arts & Music Festival. From 11am-6pm Washington Street in Hoboken will be filled with fun activities, art, dancers and music. All the activities for this event take place between the Observer Highway and 7th Street in Hoboken. Admission is free to all and it promises to be a great day for this outdoor event.
This weekend promises to be a beautiful weekend with temperatures in the high 70’s to low 80’s. It’s the perfect time to enjoy West Hudson Park. The 46-acre park in Kearny and Harrison is the perfect venue to get outside and enjoy the weather. You can take a walk along its scenic trails around Fairy Lake, have fun with the kids in its multiple playgrounds, play a few games of tennis or pickle ball or just soak up the sun while having a picnic.
