Annual Kearny Doggie Halloween PAWrade and Festival set for October 24

The Kearny Doggie Halloween PAWrade and Festival takes place this
year on Saturday, October 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Arlington Depot Park in Kearny.
Costume-clad pooches, their families and dog lovers of all ages should head over to
the park (off Midland Avenue, between Elm and Forest Streets) for all the fun,
sponsored by the Kearny Urban Enterprise Zone (KUEZ), K-9 Corner/Bone Appetit
and The Kearny Dog Walker.

The event includes lots of vendors, doggie friendly booths and activities, live
entertainment and more along with hundreds of Festival participants! If you are a
Kearny business and would like to participate in the PAWrade, contact Linda D’Isa at

The Doggie Halloween Costume Contest headlines the festival. Once again, sign up is
only in person at the park the day-of the event from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. You MUST
have proof of license registration and up to date rabies vaccine. Organizers
encourage you to visit the Kearny Department of Health now to get your
paperwork!

As always, everyone is invited to participate in the PAWrade. No sign up needed!
